Today marks my 29th year of existence in this world. Ang tanda ko na pala. hahaha! So do I call myself officially an adult now? geez.. People expect you to be more responsible, serious, a grown up. We get taller, (for some siguro) and of course we get older. But do we ever grow up? No matter how much we grow taller, grow older, we are forever stumbling…forever wondering, forever…young.
As I ponder this past year, I celebrate all of the experiences that brought me to this moment. The ups and the downs. And the downs and the ups. The downs that led way to the ups. And the ups that led way to the downs. I win some, I lose some, but surely God has the BEST laid out PLANS for ME.
Whatever it is.. I am very much grateful for this day. I am very grateful for the amazing people in my life - my family and friends.. We see the greatness in the people we know and love. And then we can appreciate them more including yourself. You also learn that your struggles and challenges show you how capable you are because When life throws you its challenges, you start to dig deeper, you invest in yourself more and discover more about your capabilities.
Today, I get to celebrate life with all its possibilities. To celebrate an opportunity to create something new- to change from your yesterday.
Let me share with you some ways to celebrate life and remind yourself that you are awesome :
1. Give Thanks - have gratitude for EVERYTHING that has brought you to this moment thus far. AND, everything that you are ready to manifest!
2. Learn something new that you have been curious about.
3. Smile! And share your smile with others!
4. Tune into the fact that there is only one you and you are here to share something pretty darn special with the world!
5. Do something nice for someone else. Share your gift.
6. Fall in love. In love with yourself. In love with your life!
Your very being is enough reason to celebrate- the fact that you are alive. But whatever it is, for no reason or season.. EVERYDAY is worthy of celebrating. Every moment in life is valuable – whether easy or difficult.
Always remember that "The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate." Cheers!!
